Il Clima

Il clima sta freddo e secco! My landlord's son Andrea said that this is the coldest week in 27 years! I hope it warms up soon. Luckily, my apartment is plenty warm. I cheat and heat up my bedroom extra using the electric heater, but it would still be at least 68 with just the building heat...

I roasted the cauliflower this weekend, and it was just so lovely I had to take more pictures before I cut it up...



It makes me wish I had a magnifying glass or something. I could see four levels of self-similar pattern, but without assistance I can't tell if the tiny lumps have spirals on them...



I will probably keep buying these fractal cauliflowers even if they are not cheap because they are so beautiful to behold. If it were colder in my apartment I would just leave it out perched on the top of a vase!
