Egyptology

I also visited the castle's Egyptology museum. There are a few mummies, lots of great small artifacts, and some papyrus, too.



They had the mummies separate from the coffins and sarcophagi, it was cool to get to see the painting and engravings on the insides of the coffins.



The amulets and shabti section had a lot of cool stuff. I learned a bit about the amulets, including this tyet or Isis knot, which has a meaning of life and welfare.
