Dinner: Some Parts Are Easy...

My main mode of eating at my apartment so far has been fresh pasta. It's so cheap here compared to in the states. And it's not as dried out as American fresh pasta. Everything only takes three minutes of cooking. And they don't wimp out on the flavors. I bought some spinach tortellini, and the spinach flavor was actually pretty strong.

Anyway, the easiest thing to do is just to cook pasta and add pesto to it.

Pesto

Bam, dinner.

Gnocchi for Dinner

Everything seems to be pre-salted. So far I have yet to wish I had a salt-shaker. OK, maybe my brussels sprouts dinner one night was a little unsalted, but that was because I was starting from fresh veggies.

The hard part is... There was no corkscrew in my apartment! Seriously! I was about to open one of these bottles to have with my first home cooked dinner, and was pretty disappointed.

Nero D'Avolo

I bought a corkscrew cavatappi the next day!
