But seriously, it was so hot during the days that going to the pool in the afternoon really was the best. It was so cooling, and rather relaxing, even though the pool was completely mobbed. I mean, hard to get a good spot to chill on the side of the pool level of crowded. There were no diving boards, but instead a little two step high platform. One afternoon our group dominated that area of the pool and just had a blast making fools of ourselves jumping in...
Why don't we have so many public pools in the US, or even Italy? I guess they are out of fashion at this point...
